    To me, it's different. Here's why! With a shavestick, I only need to cover my face once and then take the damp brush to lather. I may add a tiny bit of water, but that's it. Loading the brush off the puck can be a hit or miss thing. Sometimes you have to add more soap or add a lot more water. I feel that if I was in a hurry, then the stick is a good option. It's a ymmv thing. I don't have a problem with lathering per se, but a shave stick would be a good tool for someone who does.
