  1. Nothing like a silver steel shave, Blair! Glad it went well! You certainly need something to balance out the environmental unpleasantness! Stay warm!
  2. What a beautifully extensive modern artisan safety razor collection, Jim! I always enjoy your photos and staging!

  3. There is a Fendrihan labelled soap, Patrick, that you may want to look at considering you enjoy Fine pucks. It is called Robusto, and caught my eye as it is a 3x milled, tallow-based 3.5oz puck made in the Netherlands. That is quite the coincidence...I suspect it is probably the same producer as made the Fine pucks. Full disclosure- I haven't bought one myself yet, but given that you have a credit for Fendrihan, you may want to check it out.
You might have to explain mukluks to everyone, Patrick. I only have a pair from my years living up north...
  4. Lovely photo, Dave! At least your shave went well! I’ve never used more than two blades. The quality of the shaves with two never led me to even think about more. Enjoy your day! Sorry about your septic difficulties! We’re on public sewer with private well water. Hope your day improves!
  5. Thanks, Jeff!

  6. What a nice-looking girl, Patrick! You can see the intellect in her eyes! Engineering’s a great field! Took care of me! My oldest son, Ben took after me, and it’s served him well also! I know she’ll make you proud!
  7. Love the pic, Dave. Yup, you made lemonade with that one. Sorry to hear about the plumbing issue and the inability to get it quickly resolved. Sounds like my world last Thursday. I wonder if the line (you have a tank and not a field, right?) is frozen given your extreme temps. That happens now and again with septics in colder areas around here and folks need to call a steam or vacuum truck to deal with it.
  8. Great shave Blair
Great shave Jim ! Interesting as that's a popular scent and one I've always thought I'd like based on the 3 listed scent notes. am a leather fan. I prefer the old artwork verses the new. Have a great day!

  10. 2 blades (Posted as Double stacked) 3rd use ;)
Thanks, They say to pump them every 3-5 years and it's been 7-8 so I'm pretty sure that's the problem. We've had colder weather before and never an issue.

  11. Beautiful B&W, Clint. SWMBO got me that same (yours is the British one as well?) razor at Christmas and it is a smooth shaver for me as well. The handle is pretty cool too. Do you have much Floid Blue left?

  12. Thanks, Dave!

I have a few other leather scented soaps, my favorite being A&E Tertius. Leviathan is just different.
