Hard, grueling and long week but, it was a hell of a shave this morning. This pandemic has been wreaking havoc everywhere and it has done a number at my employers facility. Down to half capacity due to those affected and have contacted this modern day scourge of a virus. I’ve been fortunate and blessed to have not been affected by it physically but, it’s a constant threat 24-7. Stay frosty, vigilant and keep your heads on a swivel, Gents. PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Rooney Ebony Pure Badger
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse withHumphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Old Spice Original (Indian Version).

Started with this set up last Sunday and decided to finish my shaving week today with the same. Proraso never disappoints.

Cream: Proraso sandalwood & shea butter
Brush: Omega 10065 synthetic
Bowl: $tree salsa
Razor: RazoRock German 37 Slant
Blade: Personna Platinum (7)
Aftershave: Proraso sandalwood & shea oil

I love Progress aesthetics not less than its efficiency.
It's kind of weird tho think it's only a little younger than I...

I never use other razors but DE's and do not know what could change to use one after a long time.
But certainly it won't disappoint you. At least... so I think.
With today's blade has been like skating on ice.

DE SOTD, Sat, Feb 20th 2021

Razor: Gillette SS flare tip reg- MFG 1956 B2 4th qtr, mild razor, well built for a TTO, works well with a Kai blade IMO.
Blade: Kai SS (7) Sharp & smooth, great longevity, extra wide.
Soap: Haslinger Schifamilch, mild scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi lucky dice 26 mm Tuxedo knot, Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, has some back bone, excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock American barber with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS, + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my Gillette flare tip with a Kai SS blade.
