I decided to do an above-the-shoulder shave today. I was going to do a headshave video this week, but I got lazy. I haven't done a straight/shavette headshave in awhile and I never used the Parker to do one. I needed the practice.

Anyway, I am continuing the hot water/ bowl lathering method because I am not in a hurry this morning.
I posted a picture of the lather on my face so there really isn't any need to describe it. Honestly, I reallly was done after one pass, but I am a 2 pass shaver so I finished my passes with a nice near BBS with very little touchup. There was not any mishaps whatsoever
Did my normal postshave routine and I was happy with the face shave.

As previously mentioned, I have never used the Parker shavette to do a headshave. I must say, I had a little difficulty because I am used to my Dovo shavette. I did 2 passes, but it was hard getting the right angle for the contours of my head for this razor. I attribute it to never using it for a headshave. I will have to practice headshaves to get a better feel for this razor. I will do the headshave video with my Dovo shavette soon. Anyway, I used my Schick E3 to finish the headshave. Slight irritation on the back, but I attribute it to never using the Parker for a headshave. Again, finished with the same postshave routine as the face. Have a great day guys!

Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum.

Beautiful sunny morning. 46° and no wind. I made breakfast out on the griddle. Bacon, eggs and our version of hashbrowns. What a fun way to cook.

Rain and snow mix coming in this afternoon. The nice weather was fun while it lasted.
