    Marvelous shave Barry! I have used VDH luxury soap. It has a pleasant, clean and fresh scent. It also lathers quite well. Have a good afternoon!

    Beautiful shaves with super gear Jeff! My Dovo Special will always have a special place in my den because it was my very first straight as well. Some people look down on Dovo, but I have never been disappointed with my Special, Best Quality and shavette.

    Wonderful shave Jim! Just a thought! Since you are unofficially retired, I would think that you would be going on outdoor trips to enjoy the beautiful Colorado Rockies. It would be nice to have a presentation of your gear with the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop. No pressure! Lol!

    Exactly Clint. I was so frustrated because it shaved so well and to think it was going to be shelved forever. At least now it has life again.

    Happy Sunday Everyone. This weekend is going by entirely too fast. Inspired by @palmolive fox and @b1hart , I went with the Speick shave stick and Disco brush for today's shave. The Speick stick is easy to use and really quite good. I like the herbal scent as well. The Disco did a wonderful job face lathering. Three passes and touch ups ended with another drama free BBS shave. A splash of Agua Balsamica and I am off to the grocery. I need to get a nice thick steak to cook for dinner.     If you have someone locally that refinishes guns with Gun Koate or something similar, maybe you can get them to refinish the head.

    I never thought a 1912 and the Disco brush would go together but they look great together. Gorgeous shave Clint and enjoy the steak. Pictures or it did not happen. :D
