The Fine Platinum is awesome but unobtainable now sadly. I dont think I will be purchasing the croaps once they get them to market though. Whole different formula.
Unless the price drops significantly I'll pass. Around 16 bucks at ToTC and 22 bucks at Fendrihan for the old formula puck..which will last me till I'm 99. That Taylor of Bond Street has a little goes a long way thing to it at a great price. Not a fan of croaps but I like the Taylor's offerings. Time will tell what Mr Fine comes out with. I heard it was all in tubes now .
The new soaps are available for order through the Fine website, Patrick. Platinum is one of the scents that made the cut. If you want any more of the original 3x milled pucks, Lavender and Fresh Vetiver are still available through Fine as well. Those scents are both discontinued moving forward.
fair enough ..my thought process works like this- it needs to be better or it will get abandoned,regardless of why it changed..i honestly think modern williams still existed because no one else offered shave soap pucks for the longest time.yes it works,but not like it used to..in today's market ,it's current formulation would have died a quick death..just my opinion of course..
