In college, I was a waiter and bartender at a fine dining restaurant in Tuscaloosa called Evangeline's. The owner's father would come in once per week and always order a filet mignon. He insisted on "Pittsburg Rare," which basically meant just lightly sear all sides of the meat and it was done.

Every time I dabbled with pipes or cigars I started smoking cigarettes again.

Smoked my last cigarette driving myself to the hospital in the middle of a heart attack in 2014. I still have the next smoke from that pack vacuum sealed with a aspirin from the bottle that probably saved my life.

Lots of folks at the ER yelled at me. Apparently I’m one of the visual aids for stupidity that didn’t drop dead in the lobby.

Presently I have enough soaps. I am not opposed to adding a splash here and there to the den. I like the TdH dupes that I have tried, DG’sTrismegistus and Stirling’s Arkadia. I would be interested in the actual TdH though.

"Pittsburgh", means to take a cast iron skillet; heat it until it is WHITE HOT and toss in the steak. Hard, fast sear on both sides, leaves the surface burnt/crispy and the center BLUE (Raw). Never my cup o' tea.

Razor: Famex Cage Head (French Made Razor)
    Blade: Wizamet (?)
    Brush: Brush of Shame #2/Timberwolf
    Soap: Blood on Steel 2019
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
    AS 2: Proraso Green Splash
    Fragrance: Acqua Di Gio Profumo

So a new to me soap gifted by a generous member at TSD, Thanks Charlie. Also a new to me from the BST Famex Cage Head razor. Had a nice enjoyable shave. The soap is a keeper, the razor is a fun and interesting looking razor. It has some blade feel and was a nice shave but we'll give some more try's and see if it stays in the den or moves along as a been there and did that experience. Did a video with a drop debacle near the end so watch for the train wreck. Have a great day everyone ! Back to the grind tomorrow..........
