  3. Thank you Joe. When is Mt. Sinai allowing all students? Today? Next week?
We are in the discussion phase. The talk is that the week before the Easter break, they will allow the seniors and junior back full time. Following the break, they are considering bringing back one grade level a week.

No pushing or shoving needed. Do not offer it up. Great iconic shaver. Just my two bits.

Thank you Myles. Can't go wrong with this shave.

Thank you Dave. I may have to double up a few days, making it a 3017 since we may be traveling at the end of the month or I could just take the tub with me.
  4. Thank you, gentlemen.

There is a lot of wisdom here.

    :)
  5. Awesome shave Danny.

  7. Well, I opened this month the same way I closed the last(and I think that's the second time I've done that this year). Anyway, a real nice shave. 0:45 total at the loading dock with the Bay Rum soap and Stoylin "No-Name" brush. (0:35 and 0:10). All was very well...no cuts&Knicks. I had to do a little extra work at N. Porcupine Alley(the "mustache" location), and down at Cactus Nation, although I still missed that rough area that I now think is(are)ingrown hairs. Very pleased overall. This baby gets Outta This World Excellent.

Way to go Myles! An impressive first run with the Micromatic. Are you going to keep it?

Awesomeness Joe. Those bullet tips are smooth. Have a great day.

  11. I’m in for March, of course. In addition to my stated plan of finishing off the Baker Street, I’m going to do another soap focus as well. I’m picking the 5 soaps that have been in my den the longest and putting them in rotation for the month.

    March 1st
    Canadian NEW LC w Nacet
    Stirling Finest/Maple
    Soap Commander Endurance
    Thayers
    Shulton Old Spice
    FA1AFF74-8F39-44EE-A0E3-597A583DD9BB.jpeg
Pulled out the LC this morning. Just an amazingly smooth safety razor. This soap was ordered over 4 years ago, these large SC tubs last a long time. The consistency is the hardest of any artisan soap I have, I can’t remember if it was always the same.
Anyway, a nice lather was whipped up with the Stirling Finest, which was traded to me by the recently unearthed @BaylorGator . 3 easy passes and I am smooth enough after a little jawline buffing. A few short strokes did the trick and although I usually eschew extra touch ups, I had a bit in the jawline that would have bugged me today. Joseph has asked for some discussion of technique, which is an excellent reminder.
    Have a great day all!

  12. Awesome shave this morning and picture. I know you had mixed feelings about the Bird.

    Thanks Dave

Thanks Myles. I picked it up at a fleamall a while back. It had an incorrect razor with it but I knew I had a Micromatic at the house for it. Take care.

  16. Thank you guys. I am in my office today working on tax returns. My wife torpedoed my trip to the post office with the wrong custom form. Now I will have to make another stop this afternoon. I must really love her.
