  1. Lovely razors used in competent hands will produce lovely shaves. Have an awesome day in the City of Brotherly Love, Jeff!

  2. Fantastic photo Danny. You are doing much better with the Nodachi than the Hawk. You'll have it mastered shortly. I don't think you will need a mediator with me.

  3. This morning's shave(and shower too for that matter, prior to the shave)was with COLD water.I know there's a thread in here devoted to cold-water shavers. I am not one of them, but will do it if I HAVE to, which was today. 0:25 at the loading dock for a 2-pass shave. Both passes went real well. Again, I spent more time spreading the soap around(did that yesterday, too, as we recall). The toughest it got for me was right below the nose, but I bet my nose-hair trimmer will take good care of that later. No complaints. I'll give it an OuttaThis World Excellent but does that mean all my shaves from here on out will be with cold water? Well, yes, if pigs fly.

  5. Excellent shave report and photo Jeff. Razor like the Feather AS-D2 perfectly illustrate that it is technique not the aggressiveness of the razor that produces a great shave. Earlier in my shave journey, I would not have been happy with the Feather. Now I find myself moving more towards milder razors that require me to do my part to get a good shave.

  7. Sorry for my delay, Andrew, but I’ve added you to my prayer group list! Charlie can testify to its efficacy! We’re calling out the big non-denominational guns on this.

  8. Thank you Clint. Does the state of Georgia pick up the entire cost of the health insurance for a teacher retiree or does the retiree have to pay a percentage?
In NY is goes by District. In our District, District pays 60%, teachers 40%.

  9. Beautiful shave Clint. The MrEE brush handle is a perfect match for the Feather AS-D2.

  10. I think it is state mandate and handled by the state. The formula mirrors closely what it was while she was working for the employee portion. She still has it at 83 and uses it as a medicare supplement. Her district came voted to not participate in Social Security so her SS benefits are not much after paying her Medicare B and Medicare D portion. With cost of living her retirement is much more now than she made her last year of teaching.

  12. Glad you enjoyed your F Type shave, Dave! You do have other priorities, unlike the three current MOLC members (me, @wristwatchb , @jluc ). We have our own! For example, I’m currently struggling to decide if I’ll enjoy the Black Sambuca Liquieur or the Famous Grouse instead of my usual Makers Mark Manhattan this afternoon! Should I wear the blue velvet smoking jacket and red ascot or the red velvet smoking jacket with the blue ascot with my Montecristo Eagle! Decisions, decisions, decisions! We all have our burdens to shoulder, Dave! :D

  13. Ah, let the courting continue. Fine looking shave Danny. Regarding Charlie, @wristwatchb, just send him a boat load of chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin. You could even be daring by sending him a fruitcake.
