    Fruitcakes (the good ones) are used as a form of currency 'round here. Same for cookies, BBQ, ice cream, fried fish...pretty much any kind of health food. :happy097:

    We received some great news this morning. I got a call indicating there was a last-minute opening for me as a "caregiver" to get my first dose of vaccine. It required a Dagwood Bumstead exit and drive across town. Unlike Dagwood, I managed a quick shave beforehand. :)



    While I was there, the staff was able to reschedule my Bride's appointment so that she received her first dose as well. This was a huge blessing and relief for us both.

    Not intending to start another debate. Instead just wanting to share some great news in our world with my friends here. :)

    Thanks Joseph! She is an elegant, but plain 100+ yr old straight razor. I admire its simplicity. Because it is a heavier grind, it is very forgiving and it really slices through my stubble. I really don't know why I don't shave with it more frequently because I always get great shaves without any problems.
