I picked up a 3D printer this weekend. So after making a few test prints. My first order of business was to print a razor. As I already have my TNNSER and Wabbit. I opted for the Triceratops. As I love the design. Very reminiscent of my Clark’s razors.

First my thoughts on the design. A truly beautiful and simple design. I absolutely love he handle detail. The head very compact and sturdy.

Shave. Well this is where it all came together for me. This razor has very nice blade feel (aggressive to some). As is with other printed razors. They are light. Actually something I prefer. This razor responds to a very light touch. Noise level is mid range. I like to hear that blade sing.

So glad I picked this as my first build. I plan on printing all the different razors I can find.

I really like this unique 3D razor design from Roger Quintero. The way the blade is held is ingenious.

Great print Tom, the Colo(u)r works well. It shaves great and rinses so easily doesn't it.

This blade seems much mellower on its second outing, so the Shave was Smooth and extremely comfortable. I had no problems getting a top quality all round finish, not worth pushing for BBS as not going anywhere.

I always love seeing the beautiful bunny razors but they always make me a tiny bit jealous.

Razor: Valet auto-strop C1 Canadian variant- MFG 1920's, modified gap from .011 to .007 thousands of inch to smooth out the shave 2 years ago and enjoy my shave today. Nice to use a razor back from the roaring 1920's, Valet Auto strop was a household name at that time period.
Blade: Modified GEM Personna SS PTFE(3) excellent blade, very sharp, good longevity, smooths out nicely & predictable.
Soap: Italian barber Amici, nice mid red grapefruit scent, great lather qualities.
Brush: Razorock Noir plissoft 24 mm, nice lather generator, cloud like soft tips with good scrub back bone + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with ceraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Italian barber Amici with witch hazel + Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BbS + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my Valet Auto-strop C1 + a Gem modified coated blade.
