The V1 plate produced a nice comfortable shave with very little blade feel. The V2 plate has more blade feel, but not overly much, and ended up giving a slightly closer shave. Fri 5th March RR 400. SE-Plissoft noir P & B Pall Mall RR Hawk V3-OC plate Kai CT Mild-Pink [ 3 ] Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion. Liking the way the V3-OC Shaves with the Kai Pink. Nice relaxed Shave attained with ease, and the overall finish not too Shabby.
Friday Shave Razor: Fuzzy Catcher Blade: Gem CS Brush: JR154 Soap: AOS Sandalwood cream Balm: APS Sandalwood At the urging of Fuzzy I designed a Lather Catcher to be 3D printed. So today I whipped this up. I printed it when I got home. It took 1-1/2 hours to print. Not knowing what to expect from the shave. I was pleasantly surprised by a nice middle of the road aggression on this. I did a 3 pass shave with a DFS result. I am sure I could get even better results if I used it several times in a row. Sunday Schick shave, Mar 7th 2021 Razor: Schick injector E2 Canadian variant- Mfg 1930's-40's, excellent mid range, always receive nice close shaves with this injector. Blade: Personna SS PTFE injector (9)- Excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable. Soap: Razorock Don Marco, I enjoy Citrus scents and this one is a winner, nice citrus scent + excellent lather qualities. Brush: Yaqi Red Zebra 26 mm , excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice gentle scrub + excellent lather painter. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave: Italian barber Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm. Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my Schick E2 injector with a Personna coated blade. Have some great shaves! Stay & think safe in these times!

That is so pure evil you've out eviled yourself. Not to be a bad influence but if you plan to use a wedge blade in that might as well see if you can 3rd print a blade stropper next.

MMMonday, March 8th, 2021, Always like using this razor, it is easy to roam over the face and is more a carefree shave , mildest of the 3 different models of Micromatics IMO. Razor: Gem Micromatic flying wing, MMBT, guiding eye......MFG 1947-50, excellent milder mid range, heaviest of the Micromatics. Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(5), excellent blade, very sharp, good longevity, smooths out nicely & predictable. Soap: Cyril R Salter Indian Sandalwood cream, nice scent and has excellent lather qualities. Good post shave feel. Brush: Yaqi Artic sky 24mm, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice scrub with excellent lather painting. Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser, with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave: Ogallala with witch hazel. No Nivea balm today. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my MMBT + a coated Gem blade. Schick E3, Vintage Schick blade, shave 3 Used a light hand today and as such the shave was much gentler and also not as close as when I shave like honey badger. Still a BBS finish achieved.

I had a fun shave this morning with a new acquisition. I accidentally bid higher than intended but I'm not disappointed in my new to me Star "Test Outfit" razor.
