There’s another thread where a few folks are discussing what they’re not buying but this thread is way more interesting.
After years of my 2011 R41 being my daily driver, I snagged the super aggressive shaver from Stirling based on the audio feedback from Rod's shaving video.
Hefty price indeed. But having spent the last ten years, shaving with the same razor, there has been some amortization. I will post about the shaves in the SOS thread again. I will still be using my 10 year old Rudy Vey / Shavemac knot though!
Seems a fair price for a highly polished, American made SS razor. I like your handle choice as well. The leather cases they come with look very nice too. Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
I just used it this morning for the first time. AMAZING soap! It is quadruple milled (verified to me by Fendrihan via an email to Omega). Available in 3 scents.
Bought some oddball vintage single edge razors. One is called a dime razor made by International Safety Razor most likely in the early 20s and the other is called a Comet which according to the patent should have been produced 1909 and later. Both supposedly N.O.S. and both will work with a modern Gem style razor blade. The Dime without modification and Comet without either but you need to remove the spine first then use that as a spacer to hold the blade in place.
I agree on the Congrats @stingraysrock and it being more than fair for what you get compared to other offerings that are similar. I was in n the pass around and want to get the Standard but funds have been blown until some sale of items happens.........
