This is about your slot-machine comment.....it's tempting, but you may end up like Robert Redford's character in THE STING....."nah, I'd probably blow it".
March 7 SOTA Good afternoon guys! Straight shave #247 7/8 F Herder Ace of Spades Full Hollow Square Point JR # 386 Silvertip Badger Stirling Coconut and Lime SS and AS Dickinson's WH Nivea ASB Whiskers: 31 hours I decided to use Stirling Coconut Lime SS to get my mind off of the chilly LI day. My number 1 brush did another great job lathering this soap on my face. The brushreal nice to use despite it being a lather hog. I haven't used the Ace of Spades razor in awhile, so it needed to come out to play. My problem is all my razors are nice and I sometimes forget to use some of them because I pick other razors out more frequently. Did a 2 pass shave without any problems for a BBS- shave. Lately, I have only been doing WTG and ATG passes and I am finding that I am good with it. I will probably go back to my 2 1/2 passes, but I just wanted to change it up a bit. It was my usual post shave routine ending with the matching aftershave. I look and feel refreshed as I prepare for church this evening. Have an awesome day guys!
Yeah, I made it here, but heftin' and totin' has me feeling like I was hit by a truck! Ended up in one of my father-in-law's powered chairs and fell asleep for about an hour. Whew, 74 sure ain't 25!!
Thanks, Joe! It's a really beautiful area when one doesn't have to worry about frozen precipitation, although after heftin' and totin' all day I feel like I've been frozen.
Unfortunately, it is not supposed to be. Don't overdo it; take breaks every so often. You have plenty of time.
Thanks Jeff! I would never sell it. I just love the Ace of Spades inlay with the bone scales and it shaves well.
Thanks Dave! I am just blessed that I picked nice razors off EBay during the beginning of my journey. Every one was in great condition and shave ready.
No shave day. Honey do list, long bicycle ride, some cleaning, then grilling time with the Big Green Egg.
