Understandable but you are starting a new chapter in your life. One that you control.....enjoy yourself tomorrow and don't look back.
Thanks Danny! I'm not sure if the reports are worth much. Few have these types of tools, fewer would shave with them every day. I'm probably the only one in the universe that uses one for his mug and gourd. Every day yet. Oh and thanks for the help. tp
They are indeed. They hold an edge very well. I have looked at some of the prices for these razors and they are asking a lot for them.
Thank you Danny! I agree with you that I should take it out more often just like my 15/16 Wosty near wedge that I used a few sessions ago. I am trying to use more of my straights that I have neglected for whatever reason. It's not that I am disenchanted with any of them, but I just go for certain ones. I forget that I have other razors that beckon me to use them. I will mix it up once again throughout the year. I may do the pick a razor out of the hat like I did over a year ago so I get to use every razor in my den at least once in over a month. Maybe I will do it in April or May.
March 8th 30DC day 7 Razor: Gillette Aristocrat Blade: Astra SS (4) Brush: Chubby Clone SS and AS: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man What a great shave and start to a great day. 2 pass DFS. This 30DC thing is going to be good for me. And the first 5 LE brushes will go out tomorrow. They look really good.
Nice rigs they are. I almost bought one once. I would’ve had to have the deluxe model with with all the Shapton stones. I’ve seen videos where guys put hair whittling edges on stuff. I get by with an Edge Pro Apex. The cheap knives go on the Worksharp Ken Onion.
My set has the diamond stones. I go from 100 grit to .6 micron and leather paddles to finish. Overkill for slicing vegetables but man it's nice. Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
