    March Focus

    Tabac~~dubl duck #4~~1908 Gillette/Personna 74
    I have decided to a mini-focus with the Gillette.
    I tossed the Personna 74 after this shave, as it is still too harsh. Something's up.
    My neck is still rather raw and perhaps I need to allow my neck to recover before returning to the blades.
    The Tabac aftershave reminded me why I am eschewing aftershaves. Too much burn.
    Love the scent so much, I found a spray bottle of the EdC and ordered it.

    March 8th
    Occam's DE w GSB (1)
    Omega Pro/Poculi
    Soap Commander Endurance
    Thayers
    Barrister's Reserve Spice
    Shulton OS Cologne
    asdsdfa.jpg Switched to the Occam's with the full scalloped plate this morning. Back to the Endurance this morning. Whipped up an excellent lather with the well-worn Omega. 3 excellent passes earlier- I find the weight of the razor smoothes out the GSB nicely. Imho, it is sharper than smoother regularly. This razor came from @jluc, and is a great shaver. I'm completely smooth, but do have a little bit of neck irritation.
    I went 'full on' Spice and splashed on a bit of the Cologne before walking out the door.

    Love the colour matching, Dave. In addition to your connection to Dragonsbeard, you may want to talk to Rod at Stirling about a Russian Tea homage, as he did work with the Strop Shoppe folks on Baker Street and must have some sort of good relationship with them. The Strop Shoppe Black Tie was another beauty, although the non-tallow formula was sub par.

    Happy Menthol Monday, Joe. With a name like Uncomfortably Numb, I am assuming the soap is heavily mentholated? If it is, using it every two days is a badge of honour for sure.
