    Good evening guys!

It is kind of late for me to shave but I decided to go for it in case I am called in tomorrow.

    Van der Hagen TTO
    Rockwell DE Blade (1)
    JR #290 Synthetic Brush
Stirling Coconut Lime SS and AS
    Dickenson's WH
    Nivea ASB
    Whiskers: 31 hours

This Jayaruh brush really makes it easy to facelather and with a Stirling shave soap it's a no brainer. Did 2 passes for an error free BBS shave without touchups. I have had good shaves with this razor, but tonight, it was my best ever. I would classify this razor as mild to intermediate in aggressiveness. Although I rarely use this razor, the last few shaves with it have been very good and tonight's shave was so much better. It was effortless in taking off my 31 hour stubble whereas I had to really work it to get a very close shave. I am just surprised. Anyway, finished the shave in my usual manner and I am clean and fresh. Tomorrow will be a no shave day for me. Have a great evening guys! 20210308_215053.jpg

  6. Thanks Myles! It is the second consecutive shave that I have used that soap. My goal is to sink it and the Stirling Glastonbury this year. I love the soaps but I need to start making an effort to use them up. The way I look at it. I don't have to buy any soap for at least 4 to 5 years. Lol!

    DE Shave 329

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Merkur 37c Slant
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: Leo Frilot ECWS 2018 Ghost Trails
    Lather: Hub City Pipe Dreams
    Aftershave: Hub City Pipe Dreams
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Tea Tree Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm
Tobacco Tuesday Shave - Hub City Pipe Dream has been calling to me the past few weeks. Finally it was released from the sample section of the den. The Merkur 37c did it’s usually bang up job delivering a some and comfortable shave. Of course, this was not always the case with this razor as I have had my fair share of nicks and weeps. However, as with anything in this hobby, you learn the nuances of each razor.
Time to rock n roll for another fun filled day with the Yutes. Have a great day gentlemen.
