Said 14 year old walked into the kitchen and proclaimed "What stinks? Is that your aftershave, Dad?". I didn't even have a snappy retort this morning, I must be getting old.
I have 3 CLs, but all are Splashes. I never got any of the toners.

Very nice, Joe. I agree, those Cashmere knots are excellent for face lathering- a little looser than their Tuxedo contemporaries from the same time.

Myles, the scent and menthol will dissipate to a certain extent if the puck is left uncovered long enough. Leaving the lid off overnight, though, shouldn't make a noticeable difference.

I just finished up a bottle of CC Bay Rum. It had been opened and used periodically over a period of several years. I'm guessing it had lost maybe a quarter to a third of its scent by the time I finished it. Every time the bottle was opened provided an opportunity for some evaporation to occur.

I'm working my inventory of open after shaves and colognes down to a few, and I store the bottles in a dark, cool place. That should help with scent retention. I'm always interested in Fragheads using vintage scented products and commenting on how good they still smell. I think it gets down to how these bottles have been stored over the years.

I hope all is well. It looks like you guys need to build a room addition on your new house for all the cool shaving goodies that have been rolling in. :)

Another great looking combo. I've seen the Scottish Fine Soaps a few times over here, Barry. Are they worth pursuing?

Agree, Joe, the nuances of hardware management is one of the most enduring 'hobby' parts for me of this little thing of ours.

Does that seller have any scented old AOS Tallow pucks or just unscented, Joseph? Can you PM me the contact info, as I can't seem to find the seller.

Sounds like a great soap, Dave. Is it a 3x milled product?

Very good reviews of both the soap and brush, Clint. Thanks for doing that. Love the matching tones between the brush hair, soap label and yard browns as well. Super cool.

Sorry about the work party/drudgery, Jeff. Did you find some shaving goods there at least?

Glad to hear you got the razor dialed in to the point that you want to keep it, Danny. Well done, indeed.

Sounds delicious. I did Mojo chicken last night for entree sized salads. I think tonight we are going to order curbside pickup from somewhere. I really don't feel up to cooking.

No ear plugs. I forgot them. I had them play music which helped some. I didn't sleep but I did zone out through the process. Honestly I was so dizzy the noise made it seem like the entire thing was floating with all the noise.

The MRI? I had one for my brain, and once I got in there, I said "You sure I can breathe through this thing??" Music would have been a good idea for me. How did all thie begin for you, Clint?
