Hi Danny,,,thanks. Right, I suppose I should. Or at least on the area to be shaved.

Nahhh...the 2 Knicks don't make it OUTTA. Right, the Red Tip works well on the sideburn area. Maybe I'll rename it, the Mop Up Tip.

    30DC day 8

    Razor: '47 Gillette Aristocrat
    Blade: Astra SS (1)
    Brush: MrEE Tripple-Aught w/ Maggard 24mm SHD
SS and AS: Stirling Black Cherry

I had to use the new brush even though it's not a part of my 30DC rule. The brush is going to be a regular in my rotation for sure. The SHD knots are really nice. I am getting used to the 'crat and my shaves have less and less drama. Today's shave was fast and comfortable with a BBS finish after 2+ passes. I admit it's been a while since I've had results this close and comfortable. It was a very nice way to start my day.

Dizziness is what brought me to the ER twice-the second time I was admitted into the hospital. That was two summers ago. Syncope is what I had. I've been makimg sure to drink more water ever since.

Thanks Danny,I am. Syncope begins by passing out. The second time, I punched in my sliding glass door of my closet as I went down, and was never aware I did it.

    Simpsons Shaving Cream
Brad Sears Shave Works Disco - Super Badger Hybrid
    Seiko 6/8 Kamisori
    Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Star Jelly
    Tabac EdC

Continuing on with the 2/3 March rule, the Simpsons shaving cream has been Edmond Fitzgerald'd today, so on to BAUME.BE cream for the rest of March. 2.5 passes with my usual routine, WTG, XTG and then opposite XTG for the jawline/neck. The Seiko did a strop session immediately before using, both CrOx and leather, rewarded with very smooth shaving. BBS epic results today, had some time for small adjustments of both the blade angle (spine's width), but also playing with the rotational angle of the cutting edge during a stroke (much like a slant changes the blade angle relative to the handle direction). The Seiko's shorter blade length helps accommodate this. 1 lip weeper, no biggie overall. Quick face smattering of PAA's Star Jelly, then a Tobacco Tuesday finish with Tabac. Wifey super approved :love055:.

Hope everyone has a Terrific Tuesday!

The brush looks outstanding, Evan and the SHD knot fits the look and shape very well. Congrats on the project! Very well done.

Congrats, Blair, on both the pic and the soap being done. Is the Baume.be a long term project, or is it near the end as well?
