Your opinion is always valued by me. I haven't spent enough time with my one Mike's soap (Cedar, Orange and Pepper). I will make it a mini focus at the start of the next month.
I do find the PAA Ck-6 base a very good product. Value AND performance? Meh. Just performance? Yup.

 

Looks like a tech and shaves like a much more efficient razor such as................I don't know. I've heard it said it's like a tech but much much more efficient for me. The brush was made after Tim had asked for ideas of a shape and I recommended something along the lines of the Paladin Samurai. He did this and named it the Kentuckian. I have nothing against Arko but that's what it is to me. I will probably hear about it but I'm ALWAYS honest in my reviews although respectful.

fabulous wednesday set ups,shaves and pics gentlemen..

 

I bought a new single serve coffee maker that can use pods or my ground coffee. I only have 25 lbs of whole bean coffee here at the house. The coffee maker does a wonderful job filling my travel mug each morning. So naturally I need more travel mugs. Thus more retail therapy. Wisely I including a smaller coffee mug my wife can use for her morning and afternoon tea. The list never ends.

Mike's is clearly great performance and the price is right as well. WSP Formula T is so concentrated it seems it will last a long time so I think the value is there. I have never tried PAA so I will go with your judgment. I loved A&E soap but I went through that stuff quick. So no real value for me.

 

Love the pic, Gary. Yes, I think the vintage Schicks were definitely unique for their time...and good shavers on top of it.

 

Thanks Dave. I am just teasing you. All the ADP dupes have a very strong lemon smell to me and I like it. I was going to buy it from The Razor Company but I just have so much soap and aftershave already. Plus I am really trying to move to more triple milled and lighter scented soaps with a few Artisan items thrown in. Thank you for the kind offer.

the King-C-Gillette products are finally for sale in the local drug stores here.
including the razors.
Awesome milestone.
gillette is finally giving back to the older generation of de shavers.
first time in decades.
i didn't buy the razor,but the blades are up for tomorrow

Thanks Jason! I agree that the brush is beautiful. The knot just goes well with the gold color because it is a nice contrast. I know that I sound like a broken record, but I like all my razors. The rest of my face shaves this week will contiue to be straights. I think my 249th straight shave will be with one of my Ralf Austs and for the 250th straight shave which also will be the 500th open blade shave, I will use the Mad Max.
