    Day five of the Tennessee sojourn and we are beginning to see daylight. 95% of the furniture is gone. The movers arrived to pick up some sundry pieces that the bride wanted to hold onto, but Habitat for Humanity scored big. And to top it off, the bride and I completed the Covid vaccination process. I'm hoping to get out of here by tomorrow, but it may not be until Saturday.

    In any case, back to the shave. Last night I stropped the Wade &Butcher 7/8, and it cleaned away this morning’s whisker stubble in three comfortable passes. The SS Supply V2 is a masterful reworking of later Schick injector design. It’s one of those safety razors that just works. Two smooth ATG passes put the baby right to bed. I feel refreshed, clean, and smoothly velveteen.

    RAZOR: Wade & Butcher 7/8 (Mug), SS Supply V2 (Dome)
    BLADE: Schick Injector II Twin
    PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
    BRUSH: MrEE Knurled Aluminum Handled Hybrid Knot #007
    CREAM: Nancy Boy Signature
    POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Nancy Boy Signature AS Balm.

    Oleo became Ethos, Dave? I didn't know that. Favourite scent? Given your den, that is high praise indeed. That Krect looks like a cool shaver for sure. Great shave!

    Love the look of that Damascus blade, Joe. The Reserve Spice is a quality dupe for sure. Glad to see the 'glowing red' dye isn't in the more recent iterations as well.

    It has been sometime since we've had a snow with the kind of accumulation that they're predicting. I think the last three footer here in the metro area was back in 2003. We're due.
