  8. Thank you, Jim! The prayers are much appreciated.

Thank you, Joe! The prayers are much appreciated.

Thank you, Blair! You definitely have had your share of similar experiences. I'm glad you seem to have them under some control the best way that you can now. And I DO understand about the phone never being on mute, now. Also, I now accept every incoming "unknown number" call as it is usually a nurse, doctor or something else related to Mom's care.
I've had a lot to learn in a very short time, but I am managing better as time moves forward and my experience level improves doing this all on my own.

Thank you for the prayers and I will continue to keep you in mine as well.

Thank you, Danny! The prayers are much appreciated. Thank you for the support.

  12. Wow Andrew, that's alot on your plate my friend. I cannot express in words the utmost respect I have for you in stepping up and caring for your parents when they need you most. I hope someday my children would do the same for me . When I was going through hard times as a single father people used to tell me God only bears down on those whom he feels can handle heavy tasks . I didnt think I could make the journey but miraculously I survived some heartbreaking times with losing my Dad in the middle of all my struggles to compound things . Stay strong my friend. I will keep you in my daily thoughts and ask the powers that be to send positive energy your way. Take care and always remember your shaving "family" here will always be with you in prayer and spirit.

  15. Thanks Andrew!

One of my best friends since 2nd grade, and I were talking about all the health things of our aging parents last week. His Mom has cancer in remission (twice), also had C-19 in a bad way in Nov/Dec and recovered. He’s been an ER doctor in south Louisiana since college (then also a lawyer, cause ya know, he got bored). He’s as objective as a running chain saw, and has the bed side manner to match.

Anyhoo, I brought up about how the Lord only hands us what he thinks we can handle…. And he finished my sentence with, ‘You need an identity change.’

Take advantage of all the extra support involved, and hopefully the light hearted comment/joke brought a smile.

    Hang in there!
