What a nice shave. The Rockwell on plate 3 is a dream. Super gentle and very thorough.

I had the lather of the Fitjar a bit better in my mind. It fell together a bit quickly and was "airy".

Nevertheless, great glide and an even better scent.

The Pino Silvestre was a treat. No stinging or burning at all. Wow.

I decided to do a week of lather catchers. Yesterday, I used my Ever-Ready, but my shave weeks start on Monday. So, I will be using lather catchers through Sunday. That's eight days of catchers.

The Ingram Shave Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #419 2-band Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Superior Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today feels like summer: snow is predicted in two days.

I chose a soap that would gently bring me into this climate, less intense than Vin Drughet, more aromatic and intense than the winter ones.
A fragrance a little strong compared to the usual, but with exceptional performance.

The rest is in the most banal normality ...

What a Grand Freeze this was - from start to finish. The mentholated pre shave soap put the wheels in motion, the Glacial Black Cherry soap delivered such a beautiful scent along with tons of rich, slick, frigid lather that gave me perfect blade glide as well as gentle, soothing skincare. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Arctique aftershave prolonged the freeze wonderfully. Not even a professional barber could have shaved me better than this!

As an aside, I'm disappointed that nobody has yet to finish off their shave today with a splash of Brut. Huge missed opportunity to mutter into the bathroom mirror "Et Tu Brute" and then chuckle knowingly.
