  1. ...and the Skully adds to the Awesome Brush Day here on the thread...great stuff, Joe.
  2. Excellent shave Paul. The enlarged opening is to have you use more than intended so you have to repurchase sooner. You can combat this by putting your finger partially over the opening. I do this with the Aqua Velva Musk and Aqua Velva Ice Blue.

  3. Paul, I believe that 30DC LEs have always been considered exempt from No Buys (at least by me and the current NBers getting Evan's handles). You can buy a knot without guilt, imho.
As well, Evan has taken time from his very hectic life to make these for us and only charge for materials. I don't think putting it in the drawer for 9 months is the way to go with it.
  4. Very nice Pierpaolo.

    La Savonnière du Moulin~~Simpson D3~~1947 Gillette Super-Speed/Sharp Star~~Amouage Epic
Foggy, chilly, cloudy here in the heartland.
Shaved with some Donkey Milk this morning and have yet to let out a bray.
D3 knots are excellent, and this particular SiLVERTiP is no exception.
Fresh Sharp Star in my 1947 (birthyear of a very popular Marine, @Douglas Carey) Super-Speed.
Such a difference between this razor and the '11 R41.
MUCH smaller angle-window---similar to the Feather AS-D2.
Great results all over, including the neck.
    FOTD® Amouage Epic.

  8. Thank you Jason. The brush has a nice synthetic knot with very good backbone which leads to awesome lathering capabilities.

  10. I'm really happy you like the brush Joe! I can see why people love that blue so much. :) If it hadn't been the most common requested color, I'd have used that dye on my brush. :) With all the Blues and Golds it kind of feels like I'm back in the cub scouts. You know, shaving is a big thing for the 8-10 year old cubs. Several of us are still that age in our hearts... Charlie @wristwatchb :D
  11. Wow! Wonderful shave Joe. That juice, did you need to take out a mortgage to obtain it? I am sure you use it sparingly.

  12. Thanks Evan! Your craftsmanship is amazing! I like the blue handle. It will go with my Max Sprecher and eventually my ArtRazor 1000.
  13. Thank you Dave.

  14. I'll live Jason but thanks. Good inexpensive soap with fantastic scents.
Great shave Joseph, Love my Amouage Sunshine Man and I think all the Amouage are Beast Mode in strength. A little goes a long way.

  15. Thank you Jeff. I will adapt!
  16. Wonderful shave Jason. Geez, you're warmer than we are on LI. Currently it is 30 degrees.
  17. Starter or not, it delivers one heck of a shave. Yes, the rounded point saved me a few times during the early part of my straight razor journey.
  18. Thanks Joe

  19. High praise indeed on the juice, Joseph. Pink Pepper? Cumin? Cardamon? Sounds like a good base for some Garam Masala... you've inspired me to order some Tikka and Aloo Gobi for lunch.
  20. Thank you Danny.
