good to know. it had a gillette blue blade with Z-1 . So I can safely place it at late 54 or early 55.
American or British blade? But either way it is all period correct if you care about that sort of thing.
Probably not an original blade with that razor since it was sold in Germany and later England and other Anglo (non US) markets at least in 1962. Still original or not it is period correct time wise. If you had the correct blade holder with at least 1 blade then it might be worth the time to find a correct case if you planned to resell it later on.
Yeah those blades really aren't worth using either from my experience but then again I've never had a holder still in the original wrapping with known unused blades to try.

Ordered a puck of Stirling Orange Chill for the Summer as I had finished the one on hand last year. Also picked up a few summer scent samples. Out of No Buy 2021.
A Russian slant razor that took like a month to get here. A good price so why not Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks to my friend Vicenzo@ilRasoio Tatara Masamune Dark Edition Black PVD, AISI 303, 10x41x93mm, 88g
Thanks. My last puck of Orange Chill was from 2018 and I killed it last summer. I joined the No Buy knowing that I was going to replace this soap and not make it all the way through. Rather than buy full puck of his Glacial offerings as they are borderline for me, I figured a few sample pucks would be the good way to go.
Today I got this vintage gift box set of English Leather aftershaves. It has EL original, Wind Drift, Lime and Timberline. All the bottles are mostly if not completely full. If anyone has any info when this box set was made I’d appreciate it very much. It’s made by the MEM Company.
