I knew that with this Razor I would have a good Shave, but had not factored in this Soap. This artisan produced lanolin soap really helps a Razor perform, so the Shave was very pleasant, and I was rewarded with another Top Notch finish.Have now decided that 3 Shaves per Razor will help me get through rotations quicker than I have been doing recently.

I had the best shave yet with the Bunny V3 by @twhite which he is loaning me. It was already shaving quite well. However before today's shave I discovered that the blade wasn't quite seated right. I carefully adjusted the blade alignment and Wow, this razor shaves wonderfully now.
Also this was a much better lather from what I've previously gotten with Michael's wool fat. I believe this is do to our water softener finally getting fixed and the water being much softer now. So far all the soaps I've used since the fix have lathered better and been slicker.

A bit more of a challenging Shave today with the 1924 after the relatively mild 1912. I dont think that I have used The 1924 with a fresh blade on Two days growth before. I am rather pleased at the quality of finish attained without any problems.

Coated work very well and are should be smoother because they are teflon coated.
If you do not want to buy 200 blades I use Connaught shaving UK because I live up north and no one supplies Gem blades and shipping out of the UK is reasonable, They are the Gem Personna SS PTFE blades and are made in USA and are very good IMO. Good folks to deal with, takes about 2-3 weeks.

Razor: Gem Featherweight 1st Generation- Mfg 1950-52,2nd Gen 53-54(different top cap), excellent <mid range, carefree shave, nice feel when shaving.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(1) excellent blade, Very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely & predictable.
Soap: Razorock Lavender, nice scent, excellent lather qualities, nice post shave feel.
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow brown whiskers 26mm, excellent lather creator, soft cloud like soft tips, great scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my 1st Gen Gem Featherweight + a coated Gem.
