Happy Easter to all and your family. Today’s shave is a throwback to prior to falling in this rabbit hole. For years, since the mid 90’s till about four years ago, I would shave with this set up of the Merkur 37c, Classic Shaving Silver Blue Badger Brush and the mug (filled with either Williams or the Santa Fe Soap Ranch). The Santa Fe Soap just delivers. It is a hard soap that easy would last a good 9 months of daily shaving. Therefore, I will have this soap for a long time. This brand will always been in the den.
The usual three pass shave has the face feeling smooth and velveteen. The 37c always delivers.
On a more somber note: I may be a bit scarce over the next few days. This past Friday, my mother-in-law passed away. She has had health issues for the past sixteen years. Unfortunately, this recent challenge she was not able to conquer.
