Andrew, it’s a bit fiddly to set up and involves a plastic blank from an empty injector magazine (they’re on the bottom) or an old edge-dulled blade). I find the shave with an injector blade to be far superior to a modded DE.
Danny, I worked well within MOLC parameters. I prepared two Perfect Manhattans first, then I did two brushing strokes followed by two sips! By the time I finished, I was in the ideal mood for Easter dinner!
Thanks, Danny! Yes, finally. The hole showed up Saturday morning. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thanks, Danny, but I’m the proud owner of only 19 soaps of which I routinely use three - MWF, Nancy Boy, and Castle Forbes. This month I’m going to branch out and use some of the unused inventory. If you remember, I tried Imperial. It wasn’t for me, but my grandson loves it! Any thing that dries out my skin gets PIF’d to newbies or friends!
Thanks for letting me know that. The pictures make it easy to follow. The DE blade is fiddle too. I’ll have to give it a go! Thanks again
Great looking shave and photo Dave. Good call on the skin stretching. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Classic Jagger shave, Dave! I hope your Easter went well! SWMBO dragged me off to the 7:00 AM sunrise service and then back for the 10:30 AM. Lots of church, but she made up for it with a great dinner!
Thanks Clint Thanks Jeff, typical Sunday Services for me. I celebrated the Memorial of his Death as he commanded Sat March 27th this year in my Faith
April 5, 2021 Karve “D” SB Feather Omega Roma Colosseum La Toja Shave Cream & Aftershave Happy Monday everyone. I decided to change it up with the start of a new work week. So out came the Karve for some overdue playtime. The big Omega Roma lathered the La Toja with ease. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby. However, I did end up with a pretty good nick on my lower left neck. That will teach me to pay attention more next time. I hope everyone has a great Monday.
Same shave, same setup except I added an additional shim to get a bit more gap on this mild shaver and the efficiency jumped up nicely. 2 passes and a touch up and all is well. I took on a little project today. I found this Buck knife with a broken tip and thought I would try and recondition it. Now, to try and sharpen that hard Buck steel! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
