April 12, 2021 Feather AS-D2 Feather Semogue Galahad La Toja Shave Cream & Aftershave Happy Monday everyone. Welcome to the start of another week. I back with the La Toja again today. I am trying to use it at least twice a week in hopes of finishing the cream. The little Galahad brush did a wonderful job face lathering. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. I backed down to plate 5 this morning due to the late shave from yesterday.....not a lot of growth. Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday.
Unfortunately those old Gillette Blue Blades did not shave so well, this seems to be all due to age. I did end up BBS however, there was a great deal of tugging from the blade. I'm not disappointed in buying these though. My whole purpose of getting these was to go with my 50s British Gillette Aristocrat set for display purposes.
Terrific shave Danny. I may forgo shaving today because the Feather in my Model T did a great job yesterday. I am still socially acceptable. If I shave later this afternoon, I may dial it down to 4.5 or wait until tomorrow morning.
