Voskhods were one of my favorites. They were sharp enough, long lasting enough, inexpensive enough, smooth enough, and worked in everything I put them in. Just nothing to complain about with these.
I purchased 100 Feather DE Blades. They are my current favorites but what I find super annoying is removing the wrapper. I've learned to take care though as I sliced my finger once while removing the wrapper. Paul D
Everybody's different ..... some love them, but they're not for me. I like Nacets, GSB, Permasharps, 7 O'clocks, Polsilvers, and Super-Max.
Just got some more of (one) of my favorite blades!!! The Personna isreali reds, platinum crome. They moved the factory to Germany and all the ones you will buy from now on will be from Germany they are the same exact blade so don’t worry guys
I just bought a couple hundred Feathers (on sale). Have rarely used them in the past but thought I'd give them a good test in some of my mild razors. Honestly I'm pretty underwhelmed thus far. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
Just ordered a hundred Zorrik Super Platinum. I've never tried them and heard good things. Why ...... well I recently moved and haven't found my cigar box of blades ....... yeah that's what I'll tell my wife.
With the grain I find very little separation between Feathers and the others I've tried. Where they shine is shaving against the grain. They give me my closest shave. This morning I used a Personna Blue and I can still feel a bit of stubble on the side of my head.
Given that the price point much more than the others they really need to have an obvious difference which is why I'm searching for a cheaper alternative.
7 O'clock 100 and Minora 100. All of my blades are sharp.. I suppose I reach for Feather or 'blue box' Platinum more generally than all others. All are sharp.
100 Astra Superior Stainless. Because I'm down to my last 5 pack of the last 100 and love them. Sent from my SM-G977U using Tapatalk
