IMHO the $30 aluninum Hawk is one of the best bargains in the shaving world. It outshaves many of my stainless DEs costing more than five times as much. I also have two stainless steel Hawks, standard and OC. And yes, they are slightly more efficient than the aluminum version, at more than twice the price.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.
Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Bar Soap With Mint Extracts. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.
Face Lather.
Lather: OSP ~ Neroli Scented Shaving Soap.
Blade: Indian Gillette 7'0clock Super Platinum. (D3)
Razor: Baili ~ BD177 Rose Gold TTO.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.+3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Aloe Vera Gel./4711 ~ Eau De Cologne/ASL.

Early morning shave,

An incredibly good shave from the Baili super-speed clone, pairing up wonderfully with the Gillette 7'0clock Super Platinum.... Every shave that i have had with it has been consistently good...The 7'0clock Super Platinum i find works really well with non-aggressive razors these blades are really sharp, almost 'Feather' but with a smooth edge. I personally find Feather blades to be over sharp which makes them feel rough...I prefer smoothness in a blade rather than sharpness, the 7'0clock Super Platinum has a good balance of both.

A Enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a generous splash of 4711 ~ Eau De Cologne/ASL...The 4711 has a wonderful scent my only wish is it wasn't so short lived...You can't have everything though.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

I woke up early and refined my choice of soaps for the hot season, although it's not easy with weather like this: the emotionality was missing!
And. just as you must not food shop when you're hungry, you must not rearrange your summer soaps when it's an autumn day outside!
But I think I did an acceptable job accompanied by beautiful music.

It was an unexpected vetiver day!
And the Greek soap has a great scent.
I didn't feel my skin relaxed so I resorted to the orientals who, in their wisdom, gave me very smooth shave.

But I'm baffled: there are so many I like, it's hard to use them as often as I'd like without neglecting others I would enjoy: life is hard!

But now that we have an extra hour a day, I could get organized: an extra shave every 24 days: brilliant, right?

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the SlimGem Silvertip Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the No Date Code Gillette Ball End Tech razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

What a great shave.
Very pleased with the rice serum and of course this version of the shave butter with the amazing vetimore scent makes this feel like a level up moment.
Of course the Stirling Stainless efficiency puts this shave in the Straight Razor BBS Category.
