  3. I have the most mild plate (SSM1) with the .25mm blade gap but it makes me work a little harder than I would like to get a close shave, so I'm going to the next step - the SSR1 with the .58mm blade gap. Their site said this will be closer to a Tech in shave and the Tech works pretty good for me.
  4. They are probably the best value in the artisan razor word. I remember drooling over them before I got mine. One of the best additions to the den.
  5. I think you will really like the R1 plate. I also have the H1 and I really like it as well. Never tried the M1 plate but mine are the standard plates and not the Windsor. I love the round holes in the Windsor bottom plate....real unique. Take care.
  6. Just wow Myles!

  9. Yaqi sent me a replacement head for the AC single edge razor. It arrived yesterday and this one is made correctly.

I also have some Delrin on the way in. It was shipped on the 30th of last month and got hung up somewhere. I opened a case yesterday and amazingly it showed back up on the radar.

  13. People are going to start calling me Shavette Fu Too pretty soon:

Sounds like a great shave, Barry. That 4711 is an iconic product, no question.
Glad to hear you are getting into the schools this week, Joe. Nice looking shaves for sure.
Looking forward to your reviews, Dave, when you are able to share them. That is quite the brush handle again.
Interesting that you get that many shaves out of an Astra, Troy. Is that standard across all of your blades? I have never pushed a blade that far...how far have you pushed them?
Love the pic, Danny. I like the feel of the horsehair knot I had as well, but could never keep tangles completely out of it. Do you have similar issues?
You've inspired me to bring out my Bostonian tomorrow, Jeff, with you beautiful pic of the New Standard. Such an iconic handle.
Wow. The razor and brush were made for one another, Joe. Outstanding.
Love the pic, Jim. Neat effect and a beauty of a razor. Glad to hear the dent in the software continues.
What a beauty of a razor, Pierpaolo. Love it.
Another great razor/brush combo! Hope you are feeling ok as the day has gone on, Clint.
Congrats on the new juice, Myles. What a stunning razor (gift from Mom?) as well.
Great combo, Evan. With all the love for your LE, I haven't brought out your outstanding original design in a bit. Need to rectify that...
  14. Simply marvelous, Gary! Take care.
  15. Thanks Jason. Never had a problem with tangles in the horse hair.

  17. Well, what a crummy day it's been for me shave-wise. First, I get the nasty cut at South Porcupine Alley, now I waste about half of the Private Oud fragrance seeing it slip out of my hand, crash to the floor, and a valuable piece of the dipper came off. The only way I can get it out of the bottle and onto my skin now is to pour the remainder of it out and onto my hand. I don't want to risk that. Therefore, I will switch over to the small freebie fragrances that they flipped in. Those are the ones you spray on, which I like anyway. First one put to use will be Oud Maknoon. I have it set for Thursday and Friday of this week, following the Razorock soap(Tuscan Oud)and Agadir A.S. Tomorrow HAS TO be a better day. One of the Swiss Arabia gurus sent me a nice e-mail, thanking me for my purchase, and inviting me to get back to him about any problems. This is a problem(although I think I'll be fine with the sample sprays).
