Friday April 16, 2021 Razor: Rockwell 6s Plate 5 Blade: Rockwell (4) Brush: Knothead Brushworks "The Kentuckian" Soap: Wholly Kaw Iced Tea AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70 AS 2: Ethos Fresh Lime Fragrance: Paco Rabanne 1 Million What a difference a day makes. I had 4 soaps that came in from a BST where I was trying to get the Brush handle but 2 of the soaps were on my radar so some came and some will go. This was a first time for the Siero base from WK and performance wise I'm fine still with the Donkey Milk version I have. This scent was a weird one I couldn't place. Off the tub not wow for me. Looked it up and it's co-blended with Mammoth Soaps: Notes of Yuzu,Lemon.Black Tea. Cucumber, Basil and Peppermint. Umm okay I guess but just and odd scent for me that isn't a keeper but now I can say I've tried this base. Upon lathering I get some cooling but more than Peppermint would do and so look at the ingredients and yep, menthol. Not a bad thing, just wasn't expecting it. Nice smooth shave that felt good with the Rockwell combo and nice to be back for the final 2 days of the focus. No bleeding like a stuck pig today......and speaking of pigs. You never know what you'll see in the middle of the road when driving home around here. Had to slow down to let this little guy get off the road. Topped off with the Ethos again to continue the skin healing although I feel fine now and did all 3 passes. Yesterday is in the rearview mirror now until I'm ready to bring the Clauss out again but with a good blade and some deep respect. Had Tom tell me that it is an Aggressive razor and needs care. Hitting the 1 Million again as it is becoming a favorite on the frag shelf. Have a stellar day everyone !!
Fat fingers..... should be Arko soap. Lol. The container is something I picked up at a yard sale, a few years ago. Not sure what it’s original purpose was, but it’s about the perfect size, and quite “grippy” to use as a shave bowl. Thanks

Day 6 of the Rockwell mini focus. Rockwell 6C gunmetal @ plate 6 Shark Super Chrome Bkade (2) Mitchell’s Wool Fat Soap Delrin handle with Dscosmetics synthetic knot Scottish Antique by Andy Hilfiger cologne It is hard to believe that the Rockwell mini focus is almost over. I brought out the MWF for Fat Friday. I did not want to get kicked out of the club. You have to work the Fat a little longer but when it gets there you are in for a treat. Awesome lather and plenty of it this morning. The Shark blade seems to be a little smoother this morning. The 6S was great for three smooth passes. I did not even worry about the alum this morning. A little witch hazel and a few squirts of Scottish Antique by Andy Hilfiger. FREEDOM! Hope everyone has a great Friday.
April Focus MdC Fougère ✞~~Simpson CH3~~'58 Adjustable/Spoiler~~Brut Take a good, long look. Now look again and commit it to your collective memories, because this is the last time you are going to see an MdC lather on a Primo-post. To boldly go, where few have gone before... That's correct. The Titanic has sunk and with it, on this, appropriately-named, Fougère Friday, the last shave with this French soap. A moment of silence, please... This final shave was as good as the first, many, many years ago. The Fatboy was set to maximum gap and the Gillette Spoiler girded its loins and the two of them provided me with a fantastic finish for my Friday shave. What better way to complete Fougère Friday, then with a Fabergé classic: I recently sold my large, 6oz bottles of Brut, because I didn't like the idea of a splash. Then, I came a cross this 3oz NOS Spray bottle for a reasonable price. It never occurred to me that "spray" didn't mean "atomizer". I take off the cap; raise the bottle to my neck; aim in the direction of my collar and press the button. On the back of the bottle: "Caution contents under pressure" I could have kept my bottles and decanted them... At least I smell good.
