  2. Awesome shaves Jeff! I am glad you like the Stirling Electric Sheep. I wouldn't have a problem with this scent because I like Arko. Have a chill day Jeff!

  4. Great shave kit, focus and photo, Troy. I also like the New LC. Glad your shaves are going well. I shaved with the same Schick Krona, starting in the late 60s for almost half a century. Never did the Cart thing, until I tried the Omnishaver for my dome about two years ago. After just a short time I ended up with ingrown hairs. Thus ended my Cart experience. Enjoy your Sunday! I’ve enjoyed following your ATT focus. :)
  5. Thanks, Joe! I like Arko as well, although it dries things out a bit too much for me. Enjoy your Sunday! :)

    Good morning!

Fabulous shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Silent alum.

I see posts asking people to name their favorite razors. I've participated once or twice. No more. My opinion changes way too often. If asked right now the Apollo Light would be number one. Such a smooth enjoyable experience.

    Have a great day!

    Yesterday's shave:

First shave with a pro guard blade Blair sent me months ago. I'm counting it as an adjustable. It did make the feather DX easier to shave with. Not as close but less blood as well. I'll need to try these a few more times. Thanks @b1hart!

April is a busy month with spring break and 2 birthdays. I'm hoping I can read a few posts rather than just doing a drive by. I love April! It's just busy.

Hope everyone has a great week.

  11. Good morning :). I repeated with the Central Texas Soaps Grandpa's Barbershop. followed up by Clubman A.S.(Original). Hence, the "back nine". Course I do a lot of "back nines". Anyway, this one was headed straight for another OUTTA, until......the minor cut on NW Porcupine Alley kind of "cut" into things. 0:25 to load the brush(Stoylin No-Name). Clear and clean first pass all around. Cheeks&sideburn areas-check. Porcupine-check. Cactus, check. 2nd pass, all checked out but for the aforementioned NW Porcupine Alley, where most of my Knicks/cuts happen. The cut calmed down post-shave, with the administering of the Clubman A.S. Most Excellent. Canned shaves for the next two, maybe three, days.

  12. Initially, Rockwell designed the Model T to be all stainless steel. If I remembef correctly, they couldn't get the proper tolerances and the handle was not right. They finally decided to go the potmetal route like they did with the 6C. There were people who fronted them the money through Indiegogo and another some othef fund site that were promised deliveries as soon as everything clicked. People opted out because it was taking a long time to get the T off the assembly line. It took about 3 years to start rolling it out. In my case, I pre-ordered it and it took 9 months to get it in my hand. To this day, it takes many months to get a Model T to your doorstep.
In another instance, they decided to coat the the 6S in a red or blue color. Some were sent out with the coating missing in tiny areas on the plates.

Disclaimer: In all fairness, the company does stand by their product and really doesn't have a problem to rectify an issue with any of their razors.
  13. Thanks Jeff. I still use a Trac II on my dome in the shower because I have too many moles that always get sliced with a DE. Twice a week in the shower and I don't get ingrown on the scalp or neck.

Happy Sunday Everyone. What a difference 1 day can make. Both Swati and I feel much better today. Same basic lineup as yesterday with the exception of the brushes. I also took the photo in the same setting as yesterday. Yesterday the background was out of focus. While today the azaleas in bloom are in focus. I do like playing with the depth of field. The shave was an uneventful drama free BBS. I really like the Masamune SB razor. Swati and I are off to have a short visit with my Mom. Sadly we both have work that needs to be done today. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

  20. Joe their issues go all the way back to the beginning. Rockwell also had quality issues with their first release of the 6 razor as well. Given the problems with the 6s and the Model T, Rockwell has a pretty spotty record of releasing new razors without issues. I think their issues were even worse given they used crowd funding to get the razors to market. I am glad they were able to make things right with their customers but their history does not inspire confidence.
