Good to hear both single & twin injector blades are a winner in the Micromatic Open Comb. Going to have to give em a go. ;)

A much nicer Shave than anticipated, real good in upper areas but I did not get it right around the neck. After the light Personna Super Stainless felt a bit heavy.

2 shaves in with this razor and I find it okay but not anything special. My opinion is this razor shaves like something a DE shaver when it was originally designed with little to no understanding or experience using SE blades. It does shave decently but doesn't get over the BBS finish line for me with a prickly feeling chin still after 5 passes.

Sometimes it is a good thing to put aside a Razor which is not performing that well for you, and after some time try it again. I have done this with the Supply, having hand loaded a Personna blade rather than my regular Schicks. First Shave back not too bad, but today much better despite having to cope with two days growth, I was very pleased at the all round closeness of finish. Seems that for me the Personna is the blade to use in the Supply.

Sunday Schick shave, April 25th 2021

Razor: Stick Schick injector L type theme series- MFG 1973, I like using this razor because it reminds me of my youthful days.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE (3) excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable.
Soap: Razorock Irish countryside- nice mild scent with excellent lather qualities, good post shave feel.
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow 26mm brown whiskers- great lather generator, cloud like soft tips, great scrub + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock Blue barber with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 weeper= [IMG] Excellent shave with my Stick SchickL type with a Personna coated.

I had a wonderful shave with the Eagle Improved razor today. It can be used with a trimmed down Gem blade. It was a surprisingly mild yet fairly efficient razor. I didn't get the usual first use harshness that Gem blades sometimes have. The soap is a hand made Dragon's Blood scented soap a friend made me. I need to dial in the amount of water to use to get a better lather but entail testing was good. And I love the scent.

Razor: Gem Jr bar lather catcher- Mfg 1907-11, milder mid range, just a great razor with nice audio feedback, carefree shave!
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (7) excellent blade, very sharp, good longevity, nicely smooths out + predictable.
Soap: Proraso Red Sandal wood- great lather qualities, different sandalwood scent.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm boar bristle- nice feel to this brush but it is a shedder like they mentioned when buying on the cheap.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Proraso red sandalwood with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=[IMG] Excellent shave with my Gem Jr bar with a coated Gem blade.
