FedX just drove by my building. They must have taken the wrong turn, as I didn't order anything. Course my bldg. is just one of 6 in all in this complex, with 48 apts. in each building, so it's possible someone ELSE did, but I won't mention that persuasion.

Good suggestion..that is why for this summer I'm trying to cut back on the sophisticated goo shaves for the first summer since joining here.

You will find that you will be getting better shaves when you only use a brush and soap. You will find that your skin looks better and will be much smoother. It's time to be weaned from Barbasol, Burmashave, Foamy, Rise, etc.

I never tried Burma Shave(wish I did). Or Rapid Shave. I do like how Foamy spreads, though. But you're right-nothing beats the smooth-skin feeling of a wet-soap shave.

    Me too! Love that smell!
Danny, I know I hinted around that I was working on a 63 Chevy Corvair on here before. It’s my sons car, but at the moment is it our project.
Last weekend we rebuilt and reinstalled the dual carbs, and gave it a tune up. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points and condenser. This weekend, if it doesn’t rain, and I get the honey-do list done, we will finish installing the new dual exhaust system.
Sadly, the carbs are not 4 barrels. :angry017:
The corvair is definitely not a speed demon, but a fun to drive and simple car to work on. Air cooled flat 6 in the rear of the car, no power nothing, very simple. [IMG]

Andrew, what a fun project with your son. You cannot put a price on those memories. She is a great looking car and I love the color....looks great.

This is my baby but I don't have time to play it with like I need too. I need to get a replacement urethane bumper. She is a 1973 model, 350 with automatic transmission. I am the second owner, bought her in 1982 and I have the original paper work on the car. She stays in the basement.

He's doing well. Wandering the property again. I try to keep an eye on him, but the coyote problem seems to have lessened. After Victor and I took care of the litter, a neighbor two houses down went on that same Nature Conservancy tract and shot two. I think they may have left the area. Hope so!

Having used both in a shavette where the additional blade protrusion is less consequential, it is my opinion that Supers are sharper too.

The Supers are also a little thicker if I recall correctly as well.

    Great Shave!

Thank, Bill. I think I like Supers better. I need more time with them but they do a good job. Take care.

Nice! Always loved the Corvette! My aunt had a 78 corvette, and she still has her 67 Camaro. When I was a kid, I loved when she had to pick me up from school. Her cars always draped a crowd.

that’s awesome, you have all the paperwork. That really makes it nice.
My aunt had her 67 Camaro fully restored a few years ago. She bought it new, and still has all the original paperwork, and the window sticker showing the price. She takes it every year to a car show at the dealership she bought it from. She always wins best of show.

Just got in my semogue 830. This lather is pretty impressive and it isn’t even broken in yet. For such a small brush it holds a lot of water. Only lost one hair so doesn’t seem to shed too much which is really good. Has a little bit of a wet animal smell to it but that never bothers me. Imma let this soak in water inside the fridge over night.
