Thanks Andrew....it is amazing how a lot of our memories are tied to vehicles.

Wow, not a lot of people can claim to be the original owner of a 67 Camaro. Your aunt must be a cool lady.

    Take care.

Whilst out doing my grocery shopping/ supply buildup for other necessities, I spotted this tube of Cremo at Winners for 6 bucks so thought why not try it ?
Has a scent I can't really describe , kinda floral with a stronger overtone of what smells like tea to me . Never smelled it before I bought it or took the pic so when I made the pairing with the CL it was a guess. Thankfully it worked out well and they really blend amazingly well. :)
Lather wise it builds really fast by hand or the brush as most cremes do. Dissipates kinda fast but by George it's slick as grease and provides superb cushion.
As for todays blade/ razor combo I inserted a 7 oclock green in the Mühle and it seemed to really tame the beast . Wasnt bad for removing 2 days growth but I prefer more agressive setups if not daily shaving. This shave was an 8/10:)

She’s a mess, I mean that in a good way. Lots of memories with her and her cars. Yeah, it’s pretty crazy/amazing she’s had that car all these years.

I’ll post a picture of it later, but I still own my 1st car, a 89 Pontiac Firebird.
Danny you are correct, it’s amazing how some of us get attached to our vehicles.

I would like to see a pic of the Camaro and your Firebird.

1989...was that the last year for that body style?

No the last year for that body style ended in 92.
My aunt only lives about 20 minutes from me. Next time I go to see her, I’ll try to remember to get a picture of it for you.

Fine pickup Patrick! Cremo is a brushless shave cream that really does not lather, but it is slick as all get out! I use it for my headshaves and I get a nice shave every time. You just add water after each pass and your good to go. There really isn't a need to use a brush with Cremo. I have the Sandalwood version. My only complaint about Cremo is that it is lightly scented.

Great shave, Patrick! The original Cremo formulation wasn’t designed for brushes! It’s great that you were able to make it work with one! I like Cremo shave cream and balms. Good stuff! :)

I bought my TR6 new in 1975. Carburetors and wire harness have been replaced, but it’s otherwise all original. It’s my baby, and is stored every winter. 6AE6321C-86ED-48D2-83F0-1D9BF2F41AF2.jpeg BB90BBCB-81ED-4866-8CF7-1214B5565460.jpeg

Ha! I'm 51...52 this summer. No experience with the specifics of Chevs back in the day. My dad had a 73 Challenger when I was a kid and was a Mopar guy for rolling muscle. I had a 72 Cougar in Grade 12 and beyond for a few years. 351 Cleveland, 4 barrel. Took my paycheques right to the gas station.
Thanks for the info, Danny! Love the pic of your fine 'Vette as well.

Good looking shave, Patrick. I've seen lots of Cremo stuff at our Winners lately. Several shave sticks as well.
They do have a shave stick for brushes. Seen it lately, but have no need for it or desire to try it.
