Thanks for the compliment, Joseph, but I am far from a honemeister. The progression you used couldn't fail to yield a decent edge. Honing isn't rocket science, it's just patience and testing.
No shave Saturday. Instead, I took my fishing poles for a kayak ride. That snow-capped mountain in the bottom photo is Pikes Peak. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks again Gary! Yurii's reputation is very good so I am sure that it will shave well. There is a FB page that is just for Art Razors by Yurii Kravchenko and every one has enjoyed his razors.
Great looking shave John. I need to pull out my Zenith Chubby Boar. Very cool Gary. I love the photo effect.
April 24, 2021 Blackland Tradere OC Feather ŌKU Botiho MdC Fine Lavender Pour Homme Aftershave Early morning shave with an early evening post. I went to work at a client site all day today. I made a big dent in catching up but still have a ways to go. At least I was able to get a relaxing shave in before starting the day. The ŌKU brush might be the best face lathering brush I own. The feel on the face is divine with excellent backbone with a wall of badger feel. The little brush loaded and lathered the MdC with ease. A few drops of lanolin added to brush while face lathering makes MdC one of the best soaps I have tried. Three passes and touch ups with the Blackland Tradere caught the baby with ease. I think Swati and I are going to the taqueria for some tacos and a beer. I hope everyone has had a great Saturday.
The fish were safe, from not only me, but everyone I talked to this morning. But, water is so peaceful. Paddling and trolling for salmon, bass, walleye, trout is pretty good fun, even if nothing like the bait I used.
I would love to try some Blanton’s if I can find it without the price jacked up! I’m thinking my next bottle will be Wild Turkey Rare Breed. Yum!
Same issue here if you can find it, it's OVERpriced. Wild Turkey Longbranch is incredible too John and reasonable here at least
