Great question Jeff. Perhaps keep focusing the Proraso and cycle through my other razors, but that Windsor is something else for sure. I only have a couple of other soaps I could try right now, but I surely enjoy the coolness of the Proraso green.

I've never seen a tornado in person, but about 25 years ago, I was driving home late one night and the rain and hail and wind made me stop in the middle of a rural highway. It passed in about 40 seconds. The next day, I found out that I was right on the very edge of the tornado and drove back and looked at the gouged out dirt and water damage right where I stopped on the road. Terrifying in the hindsight, at the time, it was just a really dark night.

Thank you. I wish I started my honing journey with edges that just needed maintaining but I’m to the point where I don’t have any razors with true shaving edges. I don’t think I’ve ever been accused of learning anything the easy way!

A night and day difference from the Yates M or Hybrid plate. The H plate just plain works for me. She is a smooth operator with a lasting effect of leaving my face like glass. I added just a touch of AoS Sandalwood Cream to the soap to boost the scent a bit. It was wonderful. My focus on the Zenith Chubby Scrubby has been very rewarding this month. It’ll be heavy on the rotation but I’m yearning to pull out a badger.

Didn't shave this weekend, so left 72 hours worth for the FH to deal with. Whipped up what seemed like a good lather, but I barely had enough for the 3rd pass. Weird. Appeared to load plenty. Anyway, had 3 very nice passes. The Barbasol shines with an extra day or two of growth and I am quite smooth and without incident. I'm on the fence about this vintage juice. Gave it one more day today. I vacillate between 'this smells pungent' and 'I like the leather accords after dry down'. Still shocked this strong juice doesn't get an opinion from SWMBO. I'm not sure it will make the cut... Maybe one more day.

Great shave Jason! I remember my older brother using English Leather. I remember the fragrance and was not a fan of it. I found it to be too harsh.

Same thing here it was a dark night. I don't believe it was a tornado, however It must have been a Micro Burst in my case.
