  4. looks like the same on going train wreck around here. I like it. Things have been kind of lean since they pushed me out of the plant. Still a supervisor in a much nicer place but no overtime. I got use to having all the extra money and now that it is gone there is some serious adjustments to make. On the shave front I was gifted a really nice Fat Boy. Not a bad shaving two sided thingie. Not anything that special though either.....

A nice shave tonight from the new to me razor set. It had a 12k edge on it and did a nice job mowing down the stubble. The razors came with the customs declaration from the gent who bought them from 1948. There was also a picture of him as well. Pretty neat find for a fantastic price!

  10. Better safe than in the hospital. While in Texas I had to hide under an overpass until the worst of the storms passed. All I could think of was a huge chunk of hail coming through my window.

I am inspired, tonight I will head out to the park and burn one too.

Its been so long since I did a straight shave that I was scared I lost my touch. Learned something last night too whilst shaving and that was if I stropped on canvas in between passes the edge stayed sharp. Last time I used it it seemed dull and I became a bit frustrated at the end of the shave . When you dont shave for 3 days you obviously need a sharp blade so I was determined to set things straight. Ended up with a real nice result and didnt cut my chin off. The Every Man Jack was the perfect fit for the straight and I just lathered with my hand . Quite simple but quite effective and the scent is amazing. With MAYhem approaching fast I find myself slipping to the dark side and this was the warmup I needed to get ready for some open blade shenanigans. Take care fellas :)

  14. Hahahaha. Thanks Fuzzy:) I gotta say you were bang on about the 1305. Why didn't I listen to you sooner and just buy one ? I can't answer that, but I bought 2 just in case there is a hog shortage in Portugal. I was over across the street last week snooping around and getting the itch to dust off the old SE collection. I see a comeback in the future. Take care !

  15. I know that feeling well as I had to push the restart button awhile back. I miss the money and the atmosphere of the plants but looking back I've no regrets. I got the T shirt and good memories. Things are much simpler now and we all must move on to the next chapter in life . Keep your head up and carry on doing the best you can:). I dont own a Fatboy razor but I almost bought a Harley Fatboy once so I cant really comment there :D

  19. Thanks, John. I had a Gray Box PJ3 in Best and sold it...that was a fantastic brush, both in knot and size. The PJ2 is a tad small for me.
  20. Good to see your post, Fuzzy. We miss having you around. Also, pigs must have taken wing somewhere, now that you are shaving with an adjustable.
