    Razor: Blackland Vector
    Blade: Schick Proline (1)
    Brush: Techichi "The Hive"
    Soap: T&S Sicily 1508.5
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
    AS 2: T&S Sicily
    Fragrance: Avon Premiere Luxe Oud
    Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 902

Amazing shave with a fresh Proline in the Vector. Hit the Sicily 1508.5 again to have tomorrow free for Williams Wednesday. The Sicily is giving the broken pieces at times on the face when lathering but I just repressed it in the tub so we'll see if it continues again next shave. Just a few shaves left for it. The Avon juice is nice but doesn't seem to have duration but still a nice scent. Happy shaves and day Everyone !

Valobra Patchouly~~Simpson Emperor 3~~Fatip Lo Storto/Spoiler~~Balenciaga Pour Homme
The Gillette Spoiler is aptly named. It'll spoil you. It's spoiling me.
Great edge with over-the-top longevity. Zero tugging even after more than a dozen shaves.
The Valobra lays down a very slick and protective layer.

Being able to ATG on my neck says it all.
Cleaned up with Thayer's Medicated Witch Hazel (sadly discontinued) and a dollop of
    Stirling Unscented ASB (Glacial)

My fragrance today is acknowledged to be, depending what you read, as one of the first,
if not THE first Oud fragrances released in the west:

You'll notice the release year of 1990, which precedes M7 by YSL (when Tom Ford was the boss)
by a full 12 years. Naturally, Oud was well-known and oft used in Arabic cultures,
but we, on this side of the world, were mostly unfamiliar with it.
Imagine the reactions when noses first got a whiff of real Oud?
Nowadays, one could almost label Oud "mainstream".

It's interesting that basenotes.net lists Oud, but Fragrantica does not.

My still-learning nose picks up Oud immediately. One could also make a legitimate comparison
between Balenciaga and the original YSL Kouros...on steroids!
  8. It's another great shave in the books Barry! Have a pleasant afternoon.

Interesting shave this morning. When the alarm went off I and I made it to an upright position I discovered that our power was out. It seems that a power pole broke and the line was across the road.

    Razorock Gamechanger solid bar 0.84
    Maggard Razors MRT handle
    Astra SP Blade
MrEE LE #011 brush handle with Dscosmetics synthetic knot
    Razorock Gold Label shave soap
    Stetson aftershave splash

#011 made quick work of the RR soap this morning.

The Gamechanger is just a great razor and everyone needs to have one in their den. Three smooth passes with just a hint of alum. The MRT handle is an interesting handle to use. My sweet spot on handles seem to be the 3 to 3.25 inch in length range but the 2.25 inch MRT is a fun little handle to throw around. I actually enjoyed driving it this morning.

A little witch hazel followed by the Stetson juice and I'm ready for the day.

    Have a great day everyone!

Thanks Joe and funny you should ask as I just decided last night we leave Italy for Portugal :happy088:
  17. Well, I'm doing it.....letting my chin&mid jawline grow from astroturf to tall grass. No soap and A.S. for South Porcupine Alley. Middle day of 3 Stoylin Sandpiper shaves. No fragrance usage at the end, as Sandpiper is a YSL clone anyway....don't want to confuse the scent strength. Nice job at the cheeks/sideburns area. OK at North Porcupine-a Knick developed, but was killed off by the cold rinse&aftershave. Cactus Nation came out fine. Very Excellent for this one- a step up from Pretty.
  18. Very nice Danny. Congrats.
