  8. Almost bought one at Lee Valley but there are several types and wasn't sure which is best . Some penetrate the wood , some don't, etc etc.
  9. Yes I agree Joe . I like a woman with less muscle than me also.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

Last outing of the Indian Gillette Winner Platinum to finish my month run of using Indian made blades...Throughout the month each of the Various Indian made blades i have used have performed wonderfully in each razor i have paired them up with resulting in close comfortable error-free shaves...If i had to pick a favourite which is a hard choice i would go for the Gillette 7 O'clock Super Platinum (black),however there is a great amount of other Indian blades that i have that are equally as good... I have a great fondness for Subcontinent made shaving products, not because they are inexpensive no because they have provided me with close comfortable error-free shaves.
The parker 22r /Indian Gillette winner platinum was another wonderful smooth efficient duo mowing through my stubble with ease...A great shave to finish my shaving week off.

Another enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a generous splash of Superdrug ~ Forest Fresh ASL.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.
  11. Thursday Shave: Enjoyed the Tabac so much yesterday it is back again. This time Tabac is paired with my flashy Revisor. An excellent shave followed by some heavy spritzing of Mr. Blass, which has a nice old-school vibe.

  12. To me, it seemed to present a consistent and repeatable gauge for sharpness.

I don’t think I invented it, I found it by accident. I have since read where others have used it earlier than my discovery.

I am surprised that others had not adopted it earlier.

I had some success with the thumb pad test in which you are restricted. I hav used it on knives for years. I would be reluctant to use it in a Feather Pro Super....then again, I should try it in the interest of science.
  13. My sympathies for the pain of your loss. These things are never easy.

  14. Awesome recap Barry. I agree the blacks are a very good blade :). I get good shaves from the greens but less than from the blacks . Outlast at least 2-1.
