  4. So here's some info I found about this Vintage Electric Safety Razor and a pic of a complete set.
    Racine
Racine (a town in Wisconsin USA) is famous for its lighthouses, but even more for its important role in the development of small electric motors. Several manufacturers of electrical products were established in Racine. The Racine Senior DeLuxe and the DeLuxe Esquire were manufactured by Racine Universal Motor Co. in the 1940s. This company's policy was to produce the motors for various products, and have specialised manufacturers produce other parts, like in this case the Gillette Company the shaving head. Racine Universal Motor Co. already existed in the 1920s and also produced hairclippers (brand Race and others), hairdryers etc. The company sold its OEM-products to various wholesalers, like W.L. Henne of Erie (PA USA) who sold the razor as Vibo-Shaver.

    Shave Cream & Aftershave

Happy Thursday everyone. Back to the La Toja shave cream. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel on this cream. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS. A splash of the La Toja aftershave and I am ready for the busy day ahead. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.
  14. Thanks Clint but pretty sure "brave" could just as easily be replaced by "stupid" :D
    Great shave setup Clint

Above the Tie Calypso with R1 plate
    Astra SP Blade
    Simpson T3 Trafalgar
    Tabac shave soap
    Pinaud Clubman Aftershave Lotion

The T3 and Tabac need no defending this morning......just good stuff.

Awesome three smooth passes with just a hint of alum afterwards.

A little witch hazel followed by the glorious stank.

    Have a great day gentlemen.

    I Coloniali~~Simpson "The Hive"~~Fatip Lo Storto/Spoiler
Penultimate shave with the Fatip and the Gillette
    Spoiler.
They've had a great run, but all good things must come to an end.
The ATG neck-pass was saved by the Italian I Coloniali, without which, I fear would have been trouble.
I could feel the blade tugging, but I kept my composure and removed all pressure.
Tomorrow, I will eschew this pass.
Finished up with the sadly-discontinued aftershave emulsion. Nice stuff.
    No fragnotes, sorry, fellow fragheads.
  19. That's a beautiful shave, Gary.

I'm using a container of TOBS Sandalwood cream now. I very much enjoy the scent and performance. This is definitely one of my "Top 5's." I may add the cologne and aftershave after my NB.

I shared this with another BC friend, and he liked it a lot. I thought you would also...

  20. A solid Throwback Thursday shave for me-0:30 plus an additional 0:10 later of loading time for the soap(Weekend Rodeo-leather, leather, and more of it). 2 passes, everywhere but the chin&jawline, where I am growing some astroturf-course soon it could turn into marsh or tall grass. I could have&should have done a 3rd pass, as enough soap was there for it. The aftershave of same name as the soap went on well. Then the fragrance finished things off. I'm changing to a different Swiss Arabia for tomorrow. No cuts&Knicks, as I seem to get most of them along the chin&jawline. It's a bit of a challenge to shave N.Porcupine and skip S. Porcupine, as I sometimes get soap onto parts of the latter, but I just do what I see most videoers do...wipe it off where the beard is developing. Most Excellent.
