Geneva 5/8 Zenith Chubby Scrubby Modern Williams Aqua Velva I re-honed the Geneva before this evening’s shave and after following Joe’s @Trigger advice the edge was markedly improved over the last one. Thanks Joe! The Williams puck it getting pretty tiny, I’m sure it doesn’t hurt that I’m loading it for about a minute or so. Last night’s shave was the same set up but I used my Tech and the night before my 7/8 T.I. I went to a consult with a Neuro-Psych Doctor this morning and it looks like my forgetfulness is a bit more then it seems. Too many hits to the head over the years coupled with a couple cases of the bends. Looks like we’ll be digging into this a bit more, just sucks the clinic is over 2 hours away.
It looks like an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. I can see why you are excited to finish.
TGIF shave: Decided to go with my first 'big' straight, a Hart Steel 7/8 with a 3/4 grind. The edge was below standard but still shaveable. The shave was accetable but below the usual excellent. This razor will visit the stones before it touches my skin again. I had a water leak that we had trouble finding, in the end, it was my big wooden tub. We had to tear it apart to get to the leak. I decided to replace it with a Finish Sauna and Kinoki. A Kinoki is like a Hinoki tub but made with Korean wood instead of crazy expensive imported Japanese Hinoki wood. Now that the old tub is out we will clean up the area and waterproof it. Then wait for the parts to arrive from Finland for the sauna. I am not as far along in my project as Jim.
Great job on the honing John. I hope the doctors are able to provide some relief. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have not used the FF Bonsai in a while. Too much in the den. It is a pleasant scent. A three pass shave with the Type G has left my face smooth and comfortable. A weeper on the right side burn area magically appeared during the post shave routine. It was easily addressed. Another week in the books, albeit a short one, which means an avatar change. Have a great day gentlemen.

I am glad that I was able to help you out John. You will find that as you hone more on films, you will get more proficient. I will pray that whatever issues you have will be treated so that it will no longer be an issue. Btw, great job on the honing and shave! Have a great day!
