I didn't know that SV had a sampler, Joe. Looking forward to your thoughts on some of the different scents. The one you have today is one of the handful that I have not tried at all. I used to get the bar soaps and they are very representative of what the shave soaps are scented like, but that one escaped me.
Thank you Joe. Y'know, I figured out why many members here do just a 0:20 load-they're faster than me.
Stunning looking combo, Keith. You don't see those Asylum shavers around as much these days. Very cool. A nice gift you left your neighbours in the elevator as well.

Excellent shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Completely silent alum. For the newer members of our happy little corner of the internet, Le Grand Chypre is the soap and aftershave that earned me my CT. I can't deny, I am smelling pretty. Happy Monday! A fine Menthol Monday Troy. I need to reach for the Proraso Green soon. Such a classic. Cold water shaves? Those are a no go for moi.
I find the scent has a dominant mineral note. Having said that the scent of the cream is gone about the time the shave is over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Very interesting combo, Joe. Love the labelling and name of that soap! Very original. The scent notes sounds pretty original as well.
Glad to hear that you got some rest tucked in with your visit, Clint. Your usage of the Feather will send some fans its way as well. Very nice.
The master of the colour-match is back! Are you thinking of focussing on another soap to deep six again, Jim?
Well, if a shaving cream survivied your 'cream purge', it must be very good stuff indeed, Joseph. Lovely looking lather.
