I have some razors that needed revamp. Now a few of these razors were just the caps or base plate another couple were not good candidates for plating due to pot metal materials. So i was told that coating them is the only option but the razors are not all that worth it to be honest. So as frugal as i am and as expensive as it is to send them out, i decided to do it at home. Not sure how long the coating will last, only time will tell.

that works good. I used that on a revolver that had just about all of it's finish gone. I took it apart and scuffed it real good and it lasted until I sold it a couple of years later.
