Fantastic Thursday morning shave. For me it is the last day of the work week. Therefore another avatar change will occur this afternoon. Another day with the Yutes! More kids in the building = increased incidences of Knucklehead Mania. Fun times, enjoying the last few weeks regardless.

I had a nice and easy three pass shave with the Genco straight. Excellent face feel, no irritation and a silent alum report. I decided to pair the soap with the AV which turned out to be quite nice. Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.

Not much to say. A fave soap, a fine brush, a great razor and an awesome splash.

  12. Fine shave this morning with my "Throwback Thursday" selection. I get the sense that the Jeeves soap will see its major reduction right down the middle, leaving a lot along the perimiter. I think tomorrow I will hold the soap on its side to see if I can reduce the perimeter some. 0:45 to load the Jeeves(Bay Rum)onto the Crown King brush. 1st pass went real well, but there isn't much to d0 about those ingrown hairs at Cactus. Going from South-to-North alongside NW and NE Porcupine is turning into an ART more than just a routine shave. Well, anything to avoid a cut or Knick. And in fact, I DID avoid them. Nice work alongside the cheeks/sideburn areas. 2nd pass equally well. A solid finish from the Stephan Bay Rum A.S. Outta This World Excellent.

  13. Very nice looking shave. I would imagine that the razor is on the extremely light side. Have a good day Jason.
  14. What's the scent in that First Canadian...pipe or cigar smoke?

  19. Gorgeous shave and picture, Barry. Take care.
  20. Not nearly as light as the plastic DE I shaved with for the few days before it, Joe. That thing was like the lightest disposable cart you can think of...this Lord had a little more heft to it than that.
