Very Cool shave report and photos Joseph. I have Supremacy Pour Homme by Afnan that is supposed to be a pretty good dupe as well. Having never tried the original I can't say. Awesome shave Joe. Beautiful lineup and photo Pierpaolo.
If you are staying in Frederick, MD, I’d recommend I-70 out of Baltimore. Your commuting Frederick to Gaithersburg will keep you away from the Washington Capitol Beltway altogether. Commuter traffic at rush hours moves Balto. to Frederick in afternoon-evening and reverse in the AM. I know it is a little time yet, but have a safe and enjoyable visit. I hope you booked ground floor at the hotel. Max and Artie could cause your luggage to exceed the engineered weight limits of above ground floors.
Thanks for the advice Bill, but I did mention that I was going to take the alternative route by getting on 40 that goes into 70. The hotel and the reception venue is off 70. Unfortunately, there is a 20 mile spread between the two. Good thing is that it is an early afternoon ceremony and the reception ends at 5:30 pm. I will get back to the hotel just after 6pm. I probably leave at 10 am so that I don't have to deal with the MD. rush hour and I should hit NY by three to avoid the 5pm rush hour.
@Edison Carter. This was my reply to Danny when he said it was not a bad drive in my earlier post. It really isn't. I just have to take the Southern State to go past JFK into Brooklyn and take the Verrazano Bridge into Staten Island to get to New Jersey and take the NJTPKE to the Delaware-Memorial Bridge and continue west. The NJ Tpke has a few rest stops along the way so I will break up the trip by stopping in one of them. They have food, drinks, snacks, etc. When I get near Baltimore I can either go through it and reach the Capital Beltway and go north or take 40 into US 70 into Fredrick. MD. I am not familiar with the latter route, but I like to avoid the Beltway at all costs.
Here is Artie with Mad Max so you get an idea of the difference of a 13/8 blade as compared to a 10/8 blade. Last pic: This was yesterday's shaving setup with Artie. It was the second shave with it. I am going to do a video shaving with Artie this weekend.
The winter beard is gone. Even the Rex Ambassador wasn't up to the job. However, the Solingen from Glen worked wonders. I plan on a September beard, but one never knows from year to year. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
@9nein9 Patrick. I just replied to this because the pics don't show in my original comment so I made it easier for you Patrick.
