    SATURDAY'S SHAVE

    Perfumed by:
    Olivier Creed
    [IMG]

Bath Soap - Serenity Studio "Pear Musk"
    Razor - Merkur Futur
    Blade - [IMG] *5th Shave
    Razor Stand by RV Shaving
    Shave Brush - Omega Hi-Brush 20mm Synthetic (Model# 46745 – 0146745)
Brush Stand by Desire Metal Works
Shave Soap - West Coast Shaving "Pear-Brrr Shoppe"
Lather Bowl - Durance de Provence White Ceramic
Deodorant - Serenity Studio "Pear Musk"
Aftershave - West Coast Shaving "Pear-Brrr Shoppe"
Fragrance - Creed "Pure White Cologne"

***EDIT - Beautiful 2-pass + clean up shave. This set is quite a treat to use in late-Spring/early-Summer. I got a great lather out of the cream today. The WCS cream Jojoba cream is a real winner. I seem to have dialed in the right water and right amount of time lathering to get the "Santa Claus Beard Lather". Rich, thick and is virtually a '10' as a functional lather. In the past the lather has been solid, but today I really did a perfect job whipping it up so that it performed its best.

    Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.

    Blade : Astra Superior Stainless.(D1)
    Razor : Muhle r41.

    Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils. + 3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Aloe Vera Gel./Floid ~ Mentolado Vigoroso ASL./Milton-Lloyd ~ no.9 Victor EDP.

    Greetings,

    (Open Comb DE Razor Week.)

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Carrying on with the Astra Superior Stainless blade, another blade from the St Petersburg camp. The Astra SS i find them to be more efficient and it's longevity is better than the Astra SP. Paired together with the efficient semi-opened comb R41 wonderfully...Using the lightest of touch it cut through my stubble with effortless ease leaving my face feeling dolphin smooth...A enjoyable 3 pass +pick ups close comfortable near BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a few generous squirts of Milton-Lloyd ~ no.9 Victor EDP to the pulse points.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

To get this chromatic effect you had to hunt for a matching towel, didn't you? :D

Second shot of what is called 'Vaccine', but it is not.
So I'll have to keep being careful about what I do not to damage the ones I came across.
And I'l do it as smooth as I can: this razor is great!

Razor: 50s Gillette Tech (3 shims)

Blade: 50s Gillette Blue Blade (3)

    Cream/Soap: Barbasol

Aftershave: Witch Hazel, followed by Clubman Bay Rum followed by Nivea Men Sensitive Aftershave Balm.

The Gillette Blue Blade for me, is an excellent blade for my face. I'm testing to see how long It will last before I have to hone it. (I hone vintage carbons). The razor, I got from an antique store and it's taken me a few good years and a lot of good knowledge to clean it up but I'm very content with it and it's a great shaver. The Barabsol, well, it's Barbasol. Not the most romantic cream but it's classic. If it works for granddad it works for me. The Clubman Bay Rum is just awesome. In my opinion Clubman makes excellent Aftershave and a decent hair tonic as well. I've got a buddy of mine coming over to help me try to restore some straights. One more thing, I should add I got a DFS. Alright I'll get off my soapbox now, have great shaves everyone!!![IMG]

    Jayaruh #199 Synthetic
    Fuzzy Catcher
    Personna GEM SS PTFE

    Granddad's Blend AS

The Old Spice Original Shaving Cream lathered well with Jayaruh #199 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Fuzzy Catcher Lather Catcher with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    L’Oreal Barber Club Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Schick day 6
    Bielita SC
    Nivea Sensitive ASB
    Razorock Don Donato AS Splash

This Bielita is a lovely cream from Belarus which I received two years ago and I can kick myself in the ass for not using it more often. The scent is sort of flowery but in a nice way, two small dabs on both cheeks are more than enough for great lather which is so slick, the blade glide is terrific, there’s a mild but pleasant menthol sensation, and it’s very skin friendly. The Nivea Sensitive balm to me anyways, has a lousy scent but it performs perfectly for my type of skin, and the Don Donato aftershave smells beautiful - not only that, it’s fairly mentholated. Another super duper BBS shave!

Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and safe!
