  1. Good job, Danny! TTT at its best!
I know for me audible feedback is a must when first dialing in mild razors or adjustables at their lowest settings.

Decided to change one variable for the coming week and pulled out this little Sheffield open comb and paired it with a Rapira Super Stainless (my only blade brand for the pandemic year of 2020). The little razor did a fine enough job with a 2 pass near bbs shave.

In the right of the photo is my used blade bank. I pasted the wrappers from all the different blades I used in my first year of DE shaving, cut a slot in the lid and glued it down. It feels to be about 1/3 full after 7 years.

  3. Fantastic photo and shave report Danny. Great job going back to the 0.80mm plate. Your discovery mirrors my experience that mastering a mild razor requires solid technique and focus. I find the process to be very rewarding.

    Good morning!

Fantastic shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Silent alum.

Looking forward to a lazy day today. Yesterday was so productive I didn't leave much for today. We have a rock area just off the porch that had bushes planted by the builder. As the trees in the yard matured the poor bushes got less and less sun and died off one by one. I removed the last holdout yesterday. We're going to try a half dozen Hosta there. I shifted rock, dug the holes and ran drip lines. The missus did the planting and it looks good. I hope they take. I also got the usual yard work and weed patrol done as well. Threw down some Ironite before calling it a day. I like a deep dark green lawn.

I hope everyone else enjoys a relaxing Saturday!

  12. Excellent shave Blair. I may have to check out the ZM splash. I tend to like the witch Hazel over the alcohol most shaves.
